The Carbon Action Plan is a report that assesses and recommends specific projects to reduce operational CO2e emissions and possibly achieve carbon neutrality. It is based on detailed on-site analysis of the operation, coupled with sustainable engineering experience. For projects that are funded by DHL Logistics or The Neutral Group, it specifies anticipated changes in energy and operating costs. For projects that may be site-financed, it specifics implementation costs, payback periods and expected rates of return. It provides a detailed estimate of the carbon impact of an operation. This provides a baseline against which the effectiveness of implemented projects can be measured in the future.
